In progress: Scottish Premiership 2026/27 1 August 2026 – 16 May 2027
Scotland on IPTV
Scottish football runs to its own rhythm: the Premiership starts in the first weekend of August and finishes in May, the League Cup and Scottish Cup break up the winter, and the Old Firm derbies are the fixtures that fill the pubs from Glasgow to Aberdeen.
Rugby holds the other half of the year. Scotland play at Murrayfield in the Six Nations, Glasgow Warriors and Edinburgh carry the URC campaign, and the autumn brings the new Nations Championship. On television that means Sky Sports and Premier Sports most weeks, with BBC Scotland and STV for the free-to-air games.
Everything here is listed in UK time, and the football coverage respects the same Saturday 3pm rule that applies across Britain. The app also handles the small-hours stuff well — a Scotland tour match in New Zealand or a late US Open round is there in the morning on replay.

Scotland supplies a disproportionate share of the British sporting calendar: the Premiership and the Old Firm, the Six Nations at Murrayfield, the URC, the darts tour stops in Glasgow and Aberdeen, and the Grand National-winning yards of the Borders.
