Darts on IPTV

Ally Pally, the Premier League and Blackpool

The World Championship is the busiest three weeks in the British sporting winter and it looks different this year: from 11 December 2026 the tournament moves into the Great Hall at Alexandra Palace, taking capacity from around 3,200 to more than 5,200 per session, with a record 180,000 tickets and the first Sunday final on 3 January 2027.

The field grows to 128 players and the winner takes £1 million for the first time. Sky Sports shows every session, with a Christmas break from 24 to 27 December, quarter-finals on New Year’s Day and the semi-finals the day before the final.

From there the tour runs straight on: the Premier League roadshow from Glasgow and Berlin in February through to Finals Night at The O2 on 27 May 2027, the UK Open on ITV4 in March, and the World Matchplay back at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool from 17 to 25 July. The World Cup of Darts follows in Frankfurt in June.
