The same domain, a different job since 2019
A file converter that became a television service
From the early 2000s, konvertor.net was the download home of Konvertor — a Windows program that converted and viewed thousands of file formats, written by the French developer Logipole. It was shareware, then freeware from April 2015, and then the project moved to logipole.com and the domain went quiet.
Years later the same address does a similar job for a different kind of format. Instead of converting a file once, we convert streams all day: 1080i to 720p, HEVC to H.264, a 4K feed down to something a shared broadband line can carry — and then we put every UK sports channel behind one login.

Where we operate
The whole of the United Kingdom, with 150+ sports channels, ten sports covered and a 12-hour free trial.
konvertor.net is not affiliated with Logipole or with the Konvertor application. The name and the domain history are acknowledged here because pretending otherwise would be dishonest.
2001 — 2015
A converter famous for opening anything
The original site did not sell anything clever. It answered one question better than anyone: can this program open the file I have? Version 3.55 handled 366 formats; within a couple of years the count passed a thousand, and by the 4.x releases it was in the thousands — images, audio, video, 3D models, ebooks and archives, with batch conversion and metadata editing thrown in.
What made it possible was that the program was a careful shell around other tools — ffmpeg, exiftool, mplayer and dcraw among them. That detail is the reason this page exists: a service built on converting formats is a familiar idea to us, whichever direction the format is travelling in.
When Logipole made Konvertor FM freeware in April 2015 and moved development to logipole.com, the traffic that had built up here had nowhere to go. For a few years the domain simply sat there.
Formats came first
Thousands of them, with batch conversion and metadata handling — the original reason people arrived at this address.
Then broadcast formats
The same problem in a different medium: a stream has to leave as something your screen and your broadband can actually play.
A UK focus
Sky Sports, TNT Sports, the BBC and ITV, the EFL, cricket, rugby, darts, snooker and racing — the calendar most British households actually follow.
Dates you can check
Every event on the TV guide comes from the organisers, and the date it was last reviewed is printed on the page.
Timeline
How a download page turned into a TV service
Each step below is a decision that moved the site from converting files to converting live pictures — and then to putting every British sports channel in one app.
-
2001
A universal converter appears
Konvertor, a Windows file converter and viewer written by the French developer Logipole, is already being described in magazines as the universal file tool — a program that opens whatever you throw at it.
-
2007
konvertor.net becomes the download home
The official site hosts the installers and an FTP mirror. Version 3.55 handles 366 formats; by 3.61 it covers more than a thousand, from images and audio to 3D models and archives.
-
2011
Four thousand formats, fully Unicode
The 4.x branch arrives: batch conversion, EXIF, IPTC, XMP and ID3 metadata, frames and audio tracks pulled out of video files. The count passes 4,000 formats on a shareware licence with a 30-day trial.
-
April 2015
Free for everyone
Logipole makes Konvertor FM freeware. The program turns out to be a smart shell around open tools — ffmpeg, exiftool, mplayer, dcraw — which is why it could keep up with so many formats at once.
-
2015–2017
The project moves on — and the domain goes quiet
Development and downloads shift to logipole.com. konvertor.net stops being updated and sits unused for years: a working address with nothing behind it.
-
2019
From converting files to converting a picture
The domain changes hands. The new owners keep the name and the same habit of dealing with formats — except it is now broadcast formats: a stream arriving as 1080i, HEVC or MPEG-2 and going out at whatever your screen and broadband can actually handle.
-
2021
Infrastructure of our own
Redundant servers per channel, automatic failover and a seven-day replay. The point of the conversion work was to make a stream survive a bad evening on the broadband — not just look good in a demo.
-
2023
More than football
Cricket, rugby union, rugby league, darts, snooker and racing get their own pages, each with the competitions, the broadcasters and the dates that matter in the UK — because most of the British sporting year is not football.
-
2026
konvertor.net today
More than 18,500 channels, 150+ sports channels in 4K, ten sports covered, a public calendar with dates confirmed by the organisers, a 12-hour free trial and support in English — with the TV guide at the centre of everything we publish.
Today
What did not change
The site still opens with the schedule — only now it is a TV guide rather than a fixture list. The rule is the same as it was in the converter days: publish what has been confirmed, and mark the rest as unknown rather than guessing.
Around that guide sit the ten sport pages — football, cricket, rugby union, rugby league, Formula 1, boxing, tennis, darts, snooker and horse racing — plus the four nation pages, because the sporting calendar in Belfast is not the one in Cardiff.

Questions about konvertor.net
What the domain used to be, what it is now, and who answers your messages.
Ask a question
What was konvertor.net originally?
It was the official home of Konvertor (also known as Konvertor FM), a Windows file converter and viewer by the French developer Logipole. At its peak it handled more than 4,700 formats across images, audio, video, 3D models, ebooks and archives. The site hosted the installers and an FTP mirror.
Why is a TV service using that domain?
The domain went quiet after the converter project moved to logipole.com. When we took it over we kept the name and the idea behind it — dealing with formats. The formats are simply different now: broadcast streams rather than files.
Are you affiliated with Logipole?
No. Logipole developed the Konvertor application and their project moved on years ago. We are an independent IPTV service, and none of their software is used or sold here.
How are the dates on this site checked?
The major events use dates published by the organisers — the Premier League, the FA, UEFA, ECB, Six Nations Rugby, the FIA, the PDC, WST and the Jockey Club. Leagues and seasons appear as a window, because detailed fixtures are published closer to the start. Each page shows when it was last reviewed.
Who answers the messages?
The same small team, in English, through the form on this site. There is no call centre and no scripted reply.
