Konvertor - Using the cache

The Konvertor system cache stores images and media file informations while you browse your folders. This database increases the speed with which you can browse your folders. By default a cache is created in the Konvertor\cache folder.

Setting the cache

To set the cache click the Setup button then click the Cache tab. Use a cache To use the cache feature check this box. The cache is created in the Konvertor\cache folder.   Compression This action will reduce the cache size but will slow a little the thumbnails display. A ZIP compression will be applied to the thumbs datas. This will save about 50% of the original size. When you modify the compression type of your cache(s) you can either keep the old cache either create a new one.   Remove Delete the selected file(s) from the disk. A new cache will be created when you will browse that folder (of course 'Use a cache' must be checked)   Remove All Delete all the caches. New cachew will be created when you will browse the foldesr (of course 'Use a cache' must be checked)
